Sunday Morning
Worship
Children are a very important part of our worship services at 8:45am, 9am and 11am and we encourage children to attend worship with their families.
- Elementary age children serve as worship leaders; they serve as crucifers (cross carriers), acolytes, greeters, ushers, choir members and communion servers.
- Children's Church is offered for children ages 3 years old through Kindergarten at our 11:00 am service.
- Nursery care is available at all three worship services and during Sunday School for infants through 2yrs.
- Reader and Non-Reader Worship bags are available for children at all services.
Sunday School (10:00am-10:50am)
- 2 year olds: Meet in Toddler room (MDO) room on 1st floor. Use Group's Hands-On Bible curriculum. Children learn by hearing the stories over and over again. They will touch, taste, smell, hear and see the bible stories in a new way.
- 3 & 4 year olds: Meet in classrooms on the 2nd level. Use UM Hands-On Bible curriculum. Children are discovering the world in new ways. We are introducing them to Jesus and helping them grow in their understanding of him.
- K - 1st Grades/2nd & 3rd Grades: Use Group's Hands-On Bible curriculum; classes meet in classrooms on the 2nd floor. In this curriculum children experience the Bible through arts, crafts, music, storytelling, games, and other hands on experiences.
- 4th Grade: Use Group's Hands-On Bible MAX curriculum; it is difficult for kids to understand how someone they can't see or touch loves them deeply and listens carefully to everything they pray. Caring teachers help 4th graders learn more about their bible and applying it to daily life.
-5th grade: Pre-Confirmation Class; Spring - Confirmation Class is held in the Epworth Hall level, look for the signs
